Roads
North Alabama’s excellent network of roadways begins with Interstates 65, 565 and 59. It also includes 4-Lane Federal and State Highways that provide easy access to major cities and the Interstate System. Several companies whose deliveries are time sensitive have chosen sites served by these 4-lane highways and have been very successful.
Major Non-Interstate Roadways:
- U.S. Highway 72 and Alternate U.S. 72: 4-lane access running across North Alabama and Florence, Tuscumbia, Athens, Decatur, Huntsville and Scottsboro. U.S. 72 links to Memphis in the West, intersects Interstate 65 and connects with Interstate 24 in the east.

- U.S. Highway 43: Links Florence, Muscle Shoals and Russellville with 4-lane highway to Interstate 22 in the south.
